Vice President Kamala Harris gained two bonus children when she married Douglas Emhoff on August 22, 2014.
Among them is Cole Emhoff, who has been spotted on Harris’ social media accounts and even attended the 2024 Democratic National Convention in support of his stepmother’s presidential campaign.
Cole Emhoff, born in New York on September 15, 1994, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Colorado College in 2017.
Despite his degree, Cole decided to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. He worked as an assistant for WME for almost two years before joining Plan B Entertainment, a production company co-founded by Brad Pitt, in November 2019.
In October 2023, Cole tied the knot with Greenley Littlejohn at the Catholic Cathedral of St. Vibiana in Los Angeles.
Vice President Harris, referred to by Cole as “Momala,” officiated the wedding. Greenley, a University of Texas graduate, works as a global product development manager for Brand I.D.
In an interview with People, Vice President Harris shared some advice she gave Cole and Greenley on their marriage.
She emphasized the importance of being intentional about nurturing their relationship and making time to check in with each other, even if they are miles apart.
Cole’s dad, Douglas Emhoff, expressed his happiness about his son’s marriage, saying, “Greenley’s going to be a great part of our family, we love her, we love him.”
The family was proud to witness Cole and Greenley start their new journey together.
The moment was significant for Harris, who believes marriage is about the coming together of families.
She felt honored to officiate the wedding and be a part of such a meaningful celebration.
