Elli McKissock and Jac Caglianone are not just your average college athletes. These two University of Florida students have been making waves in the sports world with their impressive performances on the volleyball court and baseball field, respectively.
Elli McKissock, a standout volleyball player, graduated in the Spring of 2024 with a degree in telecommunication. She holds impressive records at Florida, ranking 18th in career aces and 25th in career assists. McKissock has been a key player for the Gators, starting as the libero in all matches for the past two seasons. In addition to her on-court skills, she has also served as a head coach for volleyball sessions at a summer camp for four years.
Jac Caglianone, on the other hand, is a talented left-handed pitcher and first baseman for the Florida Gators baseball team. In 2023, he was named a USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Member and was also the American Baseball Coaches Association’s National Position Player of the Year.
Caglianone has been a driving force for the Gators in the 2024 College World Series, helping the team stay alive in an elimination game against North Carolina State University. He tied the University of Florida record for most career home runs and recorded his 100th hit of the season, a feat that hasn’t been achieved by a Gator since 2005.
What makes their story even more special is the fact that Elli McKissock and Jac Caglianone are dating. The couple has been together since 2022 and while they prefer to keep their relationship private, they do share glimpses of their love on social media.
Whether they are traveling together, cheering each other on in their respective sports, or attending graduations, McKissock and Caglianone are a supportive and inspiring pair both on and off the field.
