Jennifer Ashton, the Good Morning America co-anchor, has found love again with her second husband, Tom Werner, following her divorce from the late Dr. Robert Ashton.
The couple tied the knot in a New York City wedding ceremony on November 6, 2022.
Tom Werner, born on April 12, 1950, is an American TV producer, sports executive, and businessman from New York City. He is the chairman of both the Boston Red Sox and the Liverpool Football Club, with an investment in Fenway Sports Group.
A Harvard University graduate, Tom co-founded The Carsey-Werner Company in 1980 and became an executive producer for hit TV shows like That 70s Show and Roseanne.
In 2021, Dr. Jenn was introduced to Tom by mutual friends, and by January 2022, the couple announced their engagement. They do not have children together, but Jennifer has two kids from her previous marriage, while Tom has three children from his first marriage to Jill Troy Werner.
Speaking about her second marriage, Jennifer told People magazine, “We just wanted it to be a celebration of love and happiness. I’m so happy because I never thought I’d find love like this. But when you’re older, it doesn’t take long to recognize when you’ve found your soul mate.”
