Kate Snow, the prominent NBC journalist, has decided to step down from her role as the anchor of NBC Nightly News.
This news was unexpected for many viewers, leaving them wondering about the reasons behind her departure. Some speculated that it might be due to her personal life.
Snow is married to radio presenter Chris Bro, and the couple has two children. Bro, originally from Palatine, Illinois, is a radio DJ who hosts All Things Next on WERB 107.5 Global Radio.
He is a self-proclaimed music lover and is passionate about discovering new music that engages the brain and keeps one young at heart.
Bro has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from St. Norbert College and currently works as a Customer Experience Account Executive at Lately.
Despite being married to a prominent journalist, he prefers to stay out of the limelight and focuses on his career and family.
In April 2020, when Bro was diagnosed with Covid-19, Snow took a break from work to take care of him. After a tough battle, Bro made a full recovery, but he described his symptoms as something he wouldn’t wish upon anyone.
As for Snow, she has had a successful career in journalism, working for various networks and covering major events.
She began anchoring the Sunday broadcast of NBC Nightly News in 2015 and recently started anchoring a two-hour block of NBC News Daily in 2022.
She has also made a name for herself outside of journalism, as she released an EP titled Kate Snow in February 2023, showcasing her musical talents.
Despite leaving her role as the anchor of NBC Nightly News, she assured her fans that she is not leaving NBC entirely and will continue to be seen on NBC News Daily.
As of now, NBC has not announced who will replace Snow on Sunday nights. Nonetheless, viewers are excited to see Snow’s new role on NBC News Daily and are looking forward to her continued presence on the network.
