Who is Adam Peaty?
Adam Peaty, born on December 28, 1994, in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, is the youngest of four children. He attended Painsley Catholic College and Derby College.
Peaty trains at the Derby Swimming Club under the guidance of Melanie Marshall, a former Commonwealth Games medalist.
Despite initially aspiring to be a fighter pilot, he pursued a career in swimming due to physical limitations. Standing at 6ft 3in and weighing 13st 5lb, Peaty is completely dedicated to his swimming pursuits.

Peaty’s list of achievements includes 43 gold medals, nine silvers, and two bronzes as he prepares for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
During the 2016 Rio Olympics, Peaty clinched gold in the 100m breaststroke and added a silver in the 4x100m medley relay. At the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in 2021, he successfully defended his 100m breaststroke title and helped secure gold in the 4x400m mixed medley relay.
