The Traitors is a competition show where a group of reality stars come together – in a Scottish castle, no less – to find out which of them are “traitors” among the rest, dubbed “faithfuls.”
Each week, one or more contestants are eliminated from The Traitors, either by being “murdered” by the traitors, or “banished” after a roundtable group vote; read on if you’d like to find out who’s been eliminated so far this season, and which contestants remain.
Who has been sent home on this season of The Traitors?
On The Traitors, reality TV personalities from shows like Big Brother, Survivor, Love Island, The Bachelor, and The Challenge have to work together to identify the traitors among them.
Each week, contestants are at risk of being “murdered” by the traitors, or “banished” from the show by a group vote, where they also reveal whether they were part of the faithfuls or traitors all along.
Each week, contestants also compete to add money to a prize pot worth up to $250,000, to be split by the remaining contestants at the end of the show.
However, there’s a twist – if even one traitor makes it to the end, they take the entire prize pot for themselves.
Keep reading to find out which contestants have already been eliminated from the show, and which stars are still in the running for the cash prize.
Episode 8: Knives at Dawn – February 15, 2024
Two contestants went home in the season’s eighth episode.
The traitors, unsuccessful in murdering him in a previous episode, successfully got rid of Carsten “Bergie” Bergersen.
The roundtable vote was tense, with many votes split between traitors Parvati Shallow and Phaedra Parks.
Ultimately, Parvati was eliminated, becoming the second traitor to get banished from the show.
At the end of the episode, only one traitor remained among the group, Phaedra Parks.
Episode 7: Blood on Their Hands – February 8, 2024
No murders or banishments took place during the show’s seventh episode.
The two remaining traitors, Phaedra Parks and Parvati Shallow were told they could recruit one new traitor due to Dan’s departure.
They chose Peter Weber, from The Bachelorette 15 and The Bachelor 24.
Peter, however, declined the traitors’ invitation, and remained a faithful.
Rather than doing a group vote and banishment, contestants, starting with Kevin Kreider from Bling Empire and Sandra Diaz-Twine from Survivor fame, were allowed to choose one contestant to save from the group.
Five contestants were left, or “marked for sacrifice,” at the end of the show, including Bergie, Parvati, Trishelle Cannatella, from The Real World and The Challenge, Mercedes “MJ” Javid, from Shahs of Sunset, and Kate Chastain, from Below Deck and The Traitor’s first season.
Episode 6: Backstab and Betrayal – February 1, 2024
Only one person went home in episode six.
Dan Gheesling, one of the show’s three traitors, was banished after a group vote.
Dan was the first traitor voted off this season.
The traitors had tried to murder Carsten “Bergie” Bergersen, from Love Island USA 5, but were unsuccessful due to Bergie possessing an immunity shield.
Episode 5: A Killer Move – January 25, 2024
Two contestants were sent home in the show’s fifth episode.
Tamra Judge, from The Real Housewives of Orange County and The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, was murdered by the traitors.
Former Big Brother 6 contestant Janelle Pierzina was banished after the group’s roundtable vote.
Episode 4: The Funeral – January 18, 2024
Two people were sent home in the show’s fourth episode, and one contestant chose to walk off the show.
Professional boxer and heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder walked off the show willingly, after falsely accusing Maks of being a traitor.
The traitors murdered Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, from Love Island UK 8, with Parvati “poisoning” her in plain sight.
The remaining contestants banished Larsa Pippen, a cast member of The Real Housewives of Miami.
Episode 3: Murder in Plain Sight – January 12, 2024
Two people were sent home in the show’s third episode.
The traitors chose to murder Marcus Jordan, a fashion entrepreneur, Michael Jordan’s son, and Larsa Pippen’s on-and-off-again boyfriend.
The remaining contestants voted to banish Maksim “Maks” Chmerkovskiy, a ballroom dancer on Dancing with the Stars.
Episode 2: Welcome to the Dark Side – January 12, 2024
Two people were sent home in the show’s second episode.
The murdered contestant was Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio, from The Real World: Key West and multiple seasons of The Challenge.
The banished contestant, voted out by the group, was Peppermint, from season nine of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Episode 1: Betrayers, Fakes and Fraudsters – January 12, 2024
In the first episode of season two, two traitors were initially chosen.
The traitors were Dan Gheesling, from Big Brother 10, and Phaedra Parks, from the Bravo franchises The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Married to Medicine.
The two traitors were able to “murder” one contestant, thus eliminating them, and recruit one additional traitor.
Dan and Phaedra chose to recruit Parvati Shallow, from the Survivor franchise.
The murdered contestant was revealed in the series’ next episode.
