The Traitors is a competition show where a group of reality stars come together – in a Scottish castle, no less – to find out which of them are “traitors” among the rest, dubbed “faithfuls.”

Each week, one or more contestants are eliminated from The Traitors, either by being “murdered” by the traitors, or “banished” after a roundtable group vote; read on if you’d like to find out who’s been eliminated so far this season, and which contestants remain.

Who has been sent home on this season of The Traitors?

On The Traitors, reality TV personalities from shows like Big Brother, Survivor, Love Island, The Bachelor, and The Challenge have to work together to identify the traitors among them.

Each week, contestants are at risk of being “murdered” by the traitors, or “banished” from the show by a group vote, where they also reveal whether they were part of the faithfuls or traitors all along.

Each week, contestants also compete to add money to a prize pot worth up to $250,000, to be split by the remaining contestants at the end of the show.

However, there’s a twist – if even one traitor makes it to the end, they take the entire prize pot for themselves.

The roundtable vote was tense, with many votes split between traitors Parvati Shallow and Phaedra Parks.

Ultimately, Parvati was eliminated, becoming the second traitor to get banished from the show.

At the end of the episode, only one traitor remained among the group, Phaedra Parks.

Episode 7: Blood on Their Hands – February 8, 2024

No murders or banishments took place during the show’s seventh episode.

The two remaining traitors, Phaedra Parks and Parvati Shallow were told they could recruit one new traitor due to Dan’s departure.

They chose Peter Weber, from The Bachelorette 15 and The Bachelor 24.

Peter, however, declined the traitors’ invitation, and remained a faithful.

Rather than doing a group vote and banishment, contestants, starting with Kevin Kreider from Bling Empire and Sandra Diaz-Twine from Survivor fame, were allowed to choose one contestant to save from the group.

Five contestants were left, or “marked for sacrifice,” at the end of the show, including Bergie, Parvati, Trishelle Cannatella, from The Real World and The Challenge, Mercedes “MJ” Javid, from Shahs of Sunset, and Kate Chastain, from Below Deck and The Traitor’s first season.

Episode 6: Backstab and Betrayal – February 1, 2024

Only one person went home in episode six.

Dan Gheesling, one of the show’s three traitors, was banished after a group vote.

His numerous accolades include two Tony Awards, an Emmy Award, a BAFTA Award, and an Olivier Award.

He is perhaps best known for his movie roles in Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, Spice World, Burlesque, and for his portrayal of Fegan Floop in the Spy Kids trilogy.

His television roles include playing Eli Gold on the CBS drama The Good Wife and the Apple TV+ series Schmigadoon!

Cummings is a vegan, an atheist, and bisexual.

His previous relationships include an eight-year marriage to Hilary Lyon, an actress, a two-year relationship with actress Saffron Burrows, and a six-year relationship with theatre director Nick Phillippou.

He became a citizen of the US in 2008, and is a dual-national citizen of both the UK and the US.

Cummings has hosted both seasons one and two of The Traitors.

He’s quickly become a fan-favorite on the show, due to his flamboyant wardrobe, which includes anything from blanket-sized scarves to tartan-patterned kilts, his knack for ragging on the contestants, and his over-the-top Scottish accent.

In an interview with BBC, he explains that the accent is “me playing Moira Rose from Schitt’s Creek playing Alan Cumming.”

As for the show itself, Cummings says the US version is even more suspenseful than its UK counterpart, thanks in part to its star-studded, reality TV celebrity cast.

“It heightens the drama, they understand how to do drama,” he said.
