History Channel’s American Pickers continues to be a popular show on the network, with the announcement of its 26th season.
The show follows a cast of individuals who travel across different regions in the United States in search of rare artifacts and special treasures that they can purchase from collectors and resell in their antique shops.
The creator of American Pickers, Mike Wolfe, takes pride in curating treasures that are linked to U.S. history and in preserving ancient artifacts from past generations. His specialty shops in Le Claire, Iowa, and Nashville, Tennessee have become top tourist destinations.
Mike also runs an antiques website called Antique Archaeology where fans of the show can shop online for merchandise designed by him. Additionally, he maintains a blog on the site and encourages submissions from people looking to part with their antiques.
Danielle Colby, the shop manager of Mike Wolfe’s stores in Iowa and Tennessee, is also a part of the American Pickers cast. Apart from her work on the show, Danielle dedicates her free time to volunteering, including efforts in Puerto Rico to rebuild the island, support orphanages, and assist animal shelters.
Another member of the American Pickers cast is Robbie Wolfe, Mike Wolfe’s brother, who is an antique collector specializing in uncovering unknown treasures in garages and old barns. He has a passion for preserving history and takes joy in restoring items that were once a part of someone else’s life story.
Jon Szalay, known as Jersey Jon, is an antiques expert on the show focusing on motorcycles and motorbikes from the early 1900s. He began his career by restoring his neighbors’ old furniture in New Jersey and joined American Pickers during season 7.
Although the show has seen changes in its cast over the years, with Frank Fritz leaving in March 2020, the core members continue to entertain audiences with their adventures across the country in search of unique treasures.
The 25th season of American Pickers premiered on December 27, 2023, on the History Channel, with episodes available for streaming the following day on the show’s website.
Fans can look forward to the upcoming 26th season, as the cast has reportedly signed on for three more years of filming.
