The beloved show The Dog House has been stealing our hearts since its debut on Channel 4 in 2019. Viewers have been wondering where the show is actually filmed and if they can visit the famous center that takes care of the animals featured on the show.
The Dog House revolves around the heartwarming work of Wood Green, The Animals Charity, which is based in Cambridgeshire.
The entire series is filmed at the center and follows the dedicated staff and vets who work tirelessly to match abandoned dogs with loving owners for their forever homes.
Wood Green rescues and rehabilitates hundreds of neglected dogs each year.
While the show is based in Cambridgeshire, the team searches for adopters from all over the UK. Visits to Wood Green’s center are by appointment only and are for people using their services, such as rehoming a pet or attending one of their workshops.
However, anyone is welcome to visit the charity shop at any time. If you’d like to support the good work at Wood Green, you can donate or even sponsor a dog for just 21p a day.
The show airs weekly on Channel 4 every Thursday at 8pm, and if you’ve missed any episodes, you can catch up on ALL 4.
