Fans of the hit TV show Dance Moms will surely remember the intense rivalry between Abby Lee Dance Company and Candy Apples Dance Center in the earlier seasons of the show.
While Dance Moms has been off the air for some time now, many are still curious about what happened to the mother-daughter duo from Candy Apples.
Cathy Nesbitt-Stein, the owner of Candy Apples Dance Center located in Canton, Ohio, is still very much involved in the dance world. Her daughter, Vivi-Anne Stein, began her training at the dance center when she was just 18 months old. Now, at 19 years old, Vivi-Anne is a cheerleader at Cleveland State University.
The duo first joined Abby Lee Dance Company in the first season of Dance Moms, creating tension and competition between the two dance groups. However, they eventually left ALDC and continued to compete against Abby Lee Miller’s dancers in various competitions throughout the show’s run from 2011 to 2017.
With the upcoming TV special, Dance Moms: The Reunion, set to air on May 1, 2024, many former cast members are expected to make appearances. However, Cathy and Vivi have not been included in any promotional materials for the reunion, leaving fans wondering if they will make an appearance or not.
