The WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournament is making a highly anticipated comeback after a three-year hiatus. The last event was held in 2021, where Xavier Woods was crowned King and Zelina Vega took home the Queen title.
This year, fans can look forward to an exciting matchup between WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes and US Champ Logan Paul. Rhodes will be putting his WWE title on the line in the headlining event.
In the King of the Ring tournament, former Intercontinental champion Gunther will battle it out against either Randy Orton or Tama Tonga for the crown. Gunther secured his spot in the final by defeating Jey Uso in the semi-final.
On the women’s side, new Raw standout Lyra Valkyria will face off against either Nia Jax or Bianca Belair to determine the Queen of the Ring.
The WWE King and Queen of the Ring event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 25, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The action-packed event will kick off at 1pm ET/6pm BST, with SunSport providing live updates throughout the day.
Fans in the US can catch the event live on Peacock, while viewers in the UK can tune in on the WWE Network/TNT Sports Box Office.
The full card for the event includes matchups such as Cody Rhodes vs Logan Paul for the Undisputed WWE Championship, Sami Zayn vs Chad Gable vs Bronson Reed for the Intercontinental Championship, and Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship.
