The UFC is set to make a return to the United Kingdom this summer with an exciting lineup of fights that are sure to captivate the nation.
This blockbuster showcase of the UK’s top talent will mark the second year in a row that the mixed martial arts promotion will be hosting a pay-per-view event on British shores.
Unlike previous years where London’s O2 Arena served as the traditional home for UK shows, this year Manchester will be the hosting city for the event. The Las Vegas fight league’s latest bout of British brawls, UFC 304, will be held at the brand-new Co-op Live arena, which boasts a capacity of 23,500.
While UFC 304 may not be the promotion’s first trip to Manchester, with four events previously held in the city, it promises to be an unforgettable night of action for MMA fans. UFC 304 is scheduled to take place on July 27, with the main event starting at 11pm to cater to the American market, meaning that fighters will likely make their way to the cage around 5:00am (BST) on July 28.
Details on the channel and streaming service for the event have yet to be revealed, but it’s expected that the card will be available on TNT Sports Box Office. UFC 304 is likely to be a pay-per-view offering, with a cost of £19.95 in the UK and €29.95 in Ireland. Early prelims will be accessible through UFC Fight Pass and TNT Sports 2, and viewers can stream the action from the TNT Sports Box Office app on mobile, tablet, and Smart TV.
The stacked card for UFC 304 includes bouts such as Leon Edwards vs Belal Muhammad in a welterweight title fight, Tom Aspinall vs Curtis Blaydes in an interim heavyweight title fight, and Paddy Pimblett vs Bobby Green in a lightweight bout. Other exciting matchups on the card include Arnold Allen vs Giga Chikadze and Muhammad Mokaev vs Manel Kape.
With a mix of established stars and up-and-coming talent, UFC 304 promises to deliver an electrifying night of fights that will keep fans on the edge of their seats.
