Fans of the hit FX series Justified, which aired from 2010 to 2015, have been buzzing about the rumored falling out between the show’s stars Walton Goggins and Timothy Olyphant.

The American crime drama brought these two actors together, but it seems that their working relationship wasn’t always smooth sailing.

In a recent interview with The Independent, Goggins revealed that towards the end of filming Justified, he and Olyphant had a tough time. He explained, “We were so deep into these people we were playing, and they were so polar opposites at this point in the story. I think we were both obsessed with our own points of view, just carrying the weight of this conflict.”

Olyphant also shared his perspective on their relationship in an interview with Vanity Fair. He said, “I adored working with Walt from the jump, but these actors, they’re a pain in the a**. They get really into their work!”

Despite their past disagreements, in March 2024, both actors found themselves in Thailand working on separate projects. Goggins took to Instagram to share a photo of the two of them reunited on a Thai beach, captioning it, “Look at this beautiful Thailand surprise… got to meet up with Raylan Givens for lunch today. Talk about comforts from home… Just what I needed. What a good man. The road we’ve walked.”

In the same interview with The Independent, Goggins expressed that their feud was water under the bridge. He said, “I respect and love him greatly, and I feel respected and loved by him greatly. We just needed to take a break in order to come back together.” Olyphant echoed these sentiments, stating, “I’ve always adored that guy and I love working with him, and he’s something special. I’d work with him again in a heartbeat.”

For fans looking to relive the magic of Justified, all six seasons of the show are available to stream on Hulu. Additionally, in 2023, an eight-episode sequel titled Justified: City Primeval premiered on FX, with Olyphant reprising his role as Raylan Givens and Goggins making a special guest appearance as Boyd Crowder.
