Popular actor Taylor Wily, known for his roles in hit TV shows like Hawaii Five-0 and movies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, tragically passed away at the age of 56 on June 20, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife, Halona, and their two children.
Halona was the one to first announce the death of her beloved husband, alongside Taylor’s sister, Alyssa. The couple shared a daughter named TulaLagalaga Tatalo and a son named YoungAsia.
Taylor Wily had a successful career in the entertainment industry after retiring from sumo wrestling and MMA fighting. Some of his notable appearances include shows such as North Shore, Hawaii Five-0, and The Amazing Race, as well as movies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
His final role was on the 2018 reboot of Magnum P.I. where he portrayed the character of Kamekona Tupuola. However, Taylor had to step away from his wrestling career due to knee problems, and later from MMA fighting following his loss to Gerard Gordeau in 1993.
