Sean Kingston’s mother, Janice Turner, has recently made headlines after being arrested on fraud and theft charges in May 2024.
Janice, who is a 61-year-old mother of three, is best known for launching Mama Kingston’s Everything Everyday Sauce in 2023, described as “a sweet tangy dressing to add to every dish.”
Her son, Sean Kingston, is a Jamaican-American reggae fusion singer famous for his hit 2007 single, Beautiful Girls. The song peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100 charts and catapulted Sean Kingston to fame. Despite his success in the music industry, Sean is also facing legal troubles alongside his mother, Janice.
After a swat team stormed Sean’s Florida mansion, Janice was taken into custody on May 23, 2024. Following the raid, Sean reassured his fans on Instagram that he and his mother were doing well and that their lawyers were handling the situation. Aerial footage showed law enforcement officials outside the mansion, which had a line of luxury cars parked outside.
According to Public Information Officer Carey Codd, Janice’s son, Kisean Anderson, aka Sean Kingston, was also arrested on fraud and theft charges in Fort Irwin, CA.
He will be booked into jail in San Bernardino, CA as the investigation unfolds.
