Ghanaian musician Kelvynboy has made headlines with his public outburst against his former boss, Stonebwoy. In a series of tweets, Kelvynboy accused Stonebwoy of using “mafia tactics” to hinder his success in the music industry.
The feud between the two artists dates back to their time together at Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group (BMG).
Kelvynboy, known for his unique Afrobeat style, joined the label in 2018 and quickly rose to fame. However, tensions began to surface in mid-2019, with rumors of Kelvynboy being ungrateful and disrespectful towards Stonebwoy.
The situation escalated in September 2019 when BMG announced the termination of Kelvynboy’s contract, citing “structural challenges.”
Since then, both artists have exchanged subtle jabs on social media, with Stonebwoy hinting at betrayal and Kelvynboy expressing frustration over feeling undervalued.
Despite the rift, Kelvynboy has tried to mend the relationship, even publicly kneeling and begging Stonebwoy to reconcile.
However, the recent allegations of mafia tactics have reignited the feud, with Kelvynboy claiming that Stonebwoy’s actions have turned Ghanaians against him.
