Justin Timberlake, the former NSYNC member, recently found himself in legal trouble during his stay in New York. The Grammy winner was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York on June 17, 2024, for driving while intoxicated. Following a party at the American Hotel with friends, he was taken into custody after leaving the restaurant.

Sag Harbor, a town located in the Hamptons area of Long Island, was where the incident took place. According to reports, Justin was stopped by police for a traffic violation and was found to be driving under the influence. Fortunately, no one was harmed during the incident.

An insider revealed that there was no drama at the scene of the arrest. Police officers often station themselves outside the restaurant late at night to look for individuals who may have been drinking. Justin left the establishment around 12:30 am and was stopped shortly after leaving.

During the encounter with law enforcement, Justin was reportedly swerving and failed to obey a stop sign. Police attempted to conduct a field sobriety test and breathalyzer, both of which Justin refused. Despite the protests of his friends, he was placed under arrest and taken into custody.

The following day, June 18, 2024, Justin appeared in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court for arraignment. He was released without bail and charged with one count of DWI, along with citations for running a stop sign and failing to stay in his lane. His next court appearance is scheduled for July 26, 2024.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee on January 31, 1981, Justin splits his time between Los Angeles, New York, and Big Sky, Montana with his wife Jessica Biel. The couple has yet to comment on the incident.
