In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Your Super Station, Joy 99.7 FM, and Sonotech Medical and Diagnostic Centre have joined forces to provide free breast cancer screenings to listeners across Ghana.
This initiative aims to educate individuals about the importance of early detection and prevention of breast cancer.
The campaign was officially launched on the Cosmopolitan Mix show on Joy FM, hosted by Doreen Andoh, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
Throughout the month, tips on breast cancer awareness will be shared daily on the show, along with a new question-and-answer segment to encourage active participation from listeners.
Participants stand a chance to win various prizes, including t-shirts, mammogram vouchers, and free screenings.
Additionally, selected locations will offer free breast cancer screenings, with follow-up guidance provided in case of any detected abnormalities.
