In an interview on Joy Prime’s Changes show with Roselyn Felli, she explained that she prefers to be honest and tackle matters head-on, and she will not apologize for it.

Nana Aba addressed the issue of being classified as rude, stating, “I hear that all the time, and I don’t apologize for it.”

She emphasized that she likes to speak the truth in a measured way and that her politeness may be hidden in a subtle and sarcastic manner. She added, “I hear people say that I’m rude. I’m not rude; I’m just a very confident person.”

The broadcaster highlighted the confidence challenges faced by women, which prompted her to start the program Women of Valour. She pointed out that women often struggle to express their abilities in fear of being perceived as rude or overconfident, particularly in job interviews.

Nana Aba mentioned that women’s lack of confidence can hinder their ability to negotiate salaries, leading them to accept lower offers to avoid losing job opportunities.
