IHOP is set to unveil a new pancake flavor inspired by a Girl Scout cookie favorite, sparking curiosity among customers eager to taste the green treat.
The new pancakes, called Girl Scout Thin Mints Pancakes, will be available as part of IHOP’s Pancake of the Month program starting from Friday, March 1 through Sunday, March 31, 2024.
According to reports, the green buttermilk pancakes will be adorned with cheesecake mousse and actual Thin Mints cookie pieces. Customers can order a full stack of four pancakes, as a side with another menu item, or as part of a pancake combo.
The timing of the introduction of the Girl Scout Thin Mints Pancakes in March aligns perfectly with St. Patrick’s Day, making them a festive treat for the Irish holiday. IHOP’s Pancake of the Month program began in February 2024 and aims to offer customers a unique pancake flavor each month.
Arthur Carl, IHOP’s head chef and vice president of culinary, expressed excitement about the program, stating that it showcases the brand’s commitment to innovation and providing guests with new ways to enjoy classic favorites and menu trends.
IHOP customers can also participate in a year-long Pancake of the Month challenge through the chain’s International Bank of Pancakes loyalty program. By purchasing the Pancake of the Month flavor multiple times in one month or trying all the flavors throughout 2024, customers can earn Bonus PanCoins.
In addition to the Girl Scout Thin Mints Pancakes, IHOP recently introduced a limited-edition Chocolate Strawberry Pancakes in February 2024, just in time for Valentine’s Day. This special treat features chocolate chocolate chip pancakes topped with cheesecake mousse, strawberries, whipped topping, and a chocolate drizzle.
The restaurant chain continues to delight customers with its innovative and mouthwatering pancake creations, providing a fresh and exciting dining experience for pancake enthusiasts everywhere.
