The Convener of the International Youth Empowerment Summit (IYES), Pastor Brian Amoateng, has shared a crucial life principle that young people can adopt to achieve their ambitions successfully.
During an interview on Joy Prime’s Changes show, Pastor Amoateng emphasized the importance of developing the habit of making time for daily activities to create a balanced and well-structured life. He explained how he manages his responsibilities as a family man and someone who holds multiple roles.
“I intentionally create balance. If you don’t make time, you’ll never have time. We all have 24 hours, but I intentionally make time to find the balance. Otherwise, I might give more attention to either my family or my ministry. Over the years, I’ve learned to strike that balance,” he said.
According to Pastor Amoateng, effective planning is the key to achieving this balance. He highlighted that both the rich and the poor have the same 24 hours in a day, and success depends on how well individuals plan their time.
As an advocate for youth empowerment, Pastor Amoateng encourages young people to strategically plan their lives to accomplish their goals before reaching age 60. To further this mission, he has included this topic in the agenda for the 2025 edition of the IYES Summit, where he will teach practical tips on effective life planning.
The IYES Summit is set to take place from Wednesday, 12th March, to Friday, 14th March, at the UPSA Auditorium in Madina, with morning and evening sessions. Morning sessions will start at 9 a.m., while evening sessions will begin at 5 p.m. The event will conclude with a national youth all-night service on Friday evening.
The summit will feature prominent speakers such as Nigerian gospel minister and televangelist Apostle Joshua Selman, Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye of Makers House Chapel International Church, Dr. Frank Ofosu-Appiah, and other renowned ministers of God. Attendees can expect to gain valuable insights to navigate their personal and spiritual journeys successfully.
