But where was A Gentleman in Moscow filmed? While the story is mainly set in Hotel Metropol in Russia, much of the series was actually filmed in Bolton’s Victoria Square in Manchester, UK. With an impressive cast headlined by Emmy Award-winner Ewan McGregor as Count Alexander Rostov and Mary Elizabeth Winstead playing his wife, Anna Urbanova, the series promises to be a visual delight.
