Ghanaian architect turned stand-up comedian, Ebenezer Dwomoh, has been making waves in the comedy scene since his debut special, Seriously Joking, in October 2019.
With a unique blend of architectural insight and comedic flair, Dwomoh has quickly become one of the most sought-after comedians in the country.
His sophomore special, I’m Not Fooling, which took place on his birthday on August 20, 2022, drew a large crowd in Kumasi, showcasing his growing popularity.
Dwomoh’s comedic style seamlessly integrates his architectural background, which is evident in his third special, Architect Without a Plan, which had audiences in stitches.
2024 has been a busy year for Dwomoh, with a series of successful comedy specials. He kicked off the year with Funnitecture, a re-run of Architect Without a Plan, delighting audiences with his wit and humor.
His talent caught the attention of renowned comedian Basket Mouth, who invited him to open the Cancel Culture comedy show in March, leading to a feature as Joy Prime’s spotlight personality.
Venturing beyond Ghana, Dwomoh showcased his comedic prowess in Lagos, Nigeria, at Laugh Out Live hosted by Buchi. He later opened for Okokobioko’s Standing Strong comedy show at the National Theatre, solidifying his position as a top Ghanaian comedian.
In addition to his stand-up performances, Dwomoh has displayed his versatility by hosting major comedy specials and gracing weddings as an MC, bringing his infectious energy and dance moves to add a touch of magic to celebrations.
He also collaborated with the Ghana Comedy Club to organize a Comedy Writing Camp, emphasizing his commitment to nurturing talent in the comedy industry.
