Ghanaian artist J.Derobie has opened up about the challenges he faces with fame in a recent interview. During a chat with Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz, he revealed that fame brings a lot of pressure and attention, which can be overwhelming at times.
One of his biggest regrets since starting his music career is not being able to do simple things like buying food without being recognized and mobbed by fans. He shared an anecdote, saying, “Like if I want to go and buy my waakye, sometimes, Oh, super, let me buy for you. Oh, no, no, make I go. I know what adey do, no.”
Despite the difficulties that come with fame, J.Derobie remains focused on his music career and has big dreams for the future. When asked about where he sees himself heading as his career takes off, he expressed his ambition to reach the top and even dreamt of winning a Grammy someday.
