Alan Kyerematen’s running mate, Elijah Kwame Owusu Danso, recently revealed that he was approached by another political party to serve as their running mate before accepting the position with Kyerematen’s campaign.
In an interview on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, Owusu Danso shared that he declined the offer from the unnamed political party because he believes in aligning himself with parties that share his personal ideals.
Although Owusu Danso did not disclose the name of the political party, he emphasized the importance of governance and the need for credible, forward-thinking individuals to address Ghana’s challenges. He expressed his confidence in Kyerematen’s ability to bring positive change to the country if elected.
As a lawyer, broadcaster, and PR consultant, Owusu Danso asserted that he would be the first Vice President to resign if Kyerematen’s Movement for Change comes into power and fails to deliver on its promises.
This demonstrates his commitment to accountability and ensuring that the government fulfills its obligations to the Ghanaian people.
