Veteran Ghanaian actor Mawuli Semevo is currently in a dire situation after being involved in a fire accident. A report from Beyond Burns International, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting burns survivors, reveals that Mawuli needs urgent attention.
According to Judith Addison of Beyond Burns International, Mawuli was sleeping in his house when it caught fire, resulting in severe burns covering 44% of his body. He also sustained respiratory injuries, making it difficult for him to breathe properly.
Describing the extent of the injuries, Judith mentioned that the fire affected Mawuli from head to toe, leaving him with no hair.
The actor, known for his exceptional acting skills in both stage and movie productions, has appeared in popular films like ‘Harvest at 17’, ‘A Stab in the Dark’, ‘Escape of Love’, ‘Like Cotten Twines’, and ‘The Good Old Days: The Love of AA’.
