The anticipation for the 2024 African Legends Night is escalating as the renowned South African musician, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, has landed in Accra.
Famously referred to as the “Princess of Africa,” Yvonne arrived at Kotoka International Airport on Thursday afternoon to a warm reception from Ghanaian fans and event organizers. She is gearing up for her much-awaited performance at the Grand Arena on October 5 as part of the African Legends Night.
Yvonne Chaka Chaka is set to be one of the headline acts at this year’s African Legends Night, sharing the stage with other esteemed artists like Okyeame Kwame, George Jahraa, and Adane Best.
Reflecting on her return to Ghana, Yvonne expressed her excitement to be back in a country she considers her “home away from home.”
With a career spanning over three decades, Yvonne Chaka Chaka has produced hit songs like “Umqombothi,” “I’m Burning Up,” and “Thank You Mr. DJ,” solidifying her position in African music history. Tickets for the African Legends Night are now available for purchase, with single tickets priced at GHs450 and double tickets at GHs800. VIP tickets and table reservations are also limited for interested patrons.
