Controversial Ghanaian rapper, AY Poyoo, has made a bold statement regarding the international music market.

According to him, Ghanaian artists need validation from Nigerian artists in order to succeed on the global stage.

“No matter what you do as an artiste in Ghana, you need validation from Nigerian artistes to enter the international market easily in this era,” AY Poyoo wrote.

The young Ghanaian music star rose to fame with his hit single “GOAT” (Aponkye) and continues to make waves in the music industry.
