Two Ghanaian child dancers, Afronitaa and Abigail from Talented Kids, have made history as the first home-grown acts to represent Ghana in the 17th season of the British Got Talent show.
Their audition was confirmed by Afronitaa in an Instagram post, although the air date is still unknown.
A video of the duo’s rehearsal before the audition was shared on social media, garnering attention and excitement from their fans.
British Got Talent also shared a picture of the two dancers with the caption “Thanks for bringing the sunshine,” indicating the positive impression they left.

The two young dancers have certainly made an impact, especially after Afronitaa’s departure from DWP, a popular dance crew which she joined at the age of 14. In a post, DWP expressed that it was a tough decision to let Afronitaa go, but they support her move, aligning with their mission to build brands out of all the young and gifted personalities that join the family.
Taking part in the audition, the dancers’ photos were also shared on a Facebook post along with pictures of other acts participating in the show. This is undoubtedly an exciting and proud moment for the young dancers and for the nation as they break new ground at the British Got Talent show.
