Tupac Shakur murder suspect Keefe D says he lied about shooting dead the rapper to make money

In a shocking twist, the lawyer for Keefe “D” claims that his client lied about killing Tupac Shakur in 1996 in order to make money. Keefe, whose real name is Duane Davis, has allegedly fabricated his involvement in the assassination of the rapper to benefit financially.

Arrested after numerous interviews and a memoir, Keefe is set to appear in court in Las Vegas to face the charges against him. His new defense lawyer, Carl Arnold, asserts that his client confessed to the murder only to follow in the footsteps of an ex-LAPD officer who found success with his own book.

Arnold also pointed out that there is no evidence to suggest Keefe was actually involved in the killing. Furthermore, the lawyer dismissed the prosecutors’ claim that his client is a “threat to society” as ridiculous.

Despite admitting that Keefe’s confession to the murder was driven by a desire to make money, Arnold insists that his client has fully retired from gang life and has good mental and physical health following a battle with cancer.

The trial has been postponed to November, and Arnold seems confident that the case against his client is not strong enough to secure a conviction. He has taken on the case as a historic challenge, claiming that it will be his life’s work until November to ensure that justice is served.

Keefe is currently struggling to raise funds for his $750,000 bail. However, Arnold has stated that he is confident of securing the deposit and emphasized that his client is looking forward to being cleared of the charges against him.
