The Tsadidi Street Art Festival is back for its third edition, promising a weekend of art, culture, and tourism from November 1st to November 3rd, 2024.
This vibrant festival, named after the Ewe word for “tourism,” will be held in Keta at Fort Prinzenstein during the Hogbetsotso Festival.
Founded by Ghanaian visual storyteller Glenn Samm, the festival will showcase the rich heritage of the Volta Region under the theme “Cultural Experiment.”
The event will kick off on Friday, November 1st, with an educational talk for visual arts students in Keta and Anloga, followed by storytelling and a bonfire night.
Saturday, November 2nd, will feature an Art Procession through Keta township, with participants showcasing traditional attire. The procession will culminate in art installations, graffiti, and cultural performances for all to enjoy.
The festival will wrap up on Sunday, November 3rd, with a Beach Barbecue that will offer music, food, and drinks from the region. Attendees can expect a lively atmosphere and a celebration of the arts in a beautiful seaside setting.
