Grammy-nominated artist, Spice, also known as Grace Latoya Hamilton, has revealed that her visit to Ghana has been the most exciting trip of her career.
The dancehall queen arrived in Ghana on November 15 to collaborate with iconic reggae-dancehall star Stonebwoy on a music video for their hit track “Jiggy & Whine.”
After being warmly welcomed by Stonebwoy at the Kotoka International Airport, Spice expressed her excitement to the press, stating that despite traveling to many countries in her 25-year music career, Ghana has been the most thrilling destination yet.
She compared the country to Jamaica and mentioned that she hasn’t seen much of Ghana but is already captivated by its similarities to her home country.
Spice, renowned for her powerful vocals and fearless lyrical style, is considered one of the most influential figures in dancehall music. The upcoming music video with Stonebwoy is highly anticipated by fans worldwide, and their collaboration is expected to be a huge success.
This marks Spice’s first visit to Ghana, and she credits Stonebwoy for bringing her to the vibrant West African country.
