The second edition of Amerado’s annual concert, ‘My Motherland,’ was a massive success as thousands of music lovers gathered at Okese Park in Ejisu on December 28, 2024.
The event showcased some of Ghana’s top artists, including Amerado himself, who left the audience thrilled with their performances.
Amerado’s commitment to giving back to his hometown was evident throughout the concert, which has quickly become a highly anticipated event on the Ghanaian music calendar.
Launched in 2023, ‘My Motherland’ started as a way for Amerado to celebrate his roots and support the development of his community.
This year’s concert was not just a musical extravaganza but also a platform for shining a spotlight on the incredible talent within the Ejisu community.
Emerging artists from the area had the opportunity to share the stage with Amerado, creating a dynamic and electrifying atmosphere that celebrated local creativity and showcased the region’s rich musical heritage.
The star-studded lineup at the event included top-tier Ghanaian artists such as Sister Afia, Strongman, Joyce Blessing, Ypee, Yaw Tog, Kofi Jamar, Kwadwo Nkansah Liwin, Rap Fada, Lokal, Kweku Darlington, Kweku Flick, and many more. Their performances kept the audience engaged and dancing to hit songs all night long.
