The highly anticipated Rhythms On Da Runway event is set to make a grand return this year with a special Kente Edition.
The event, organized by Nineteen57 and spearheaded by the Creative President KOD, will showcase the rich heritage and creativity of Ghana through fashion and music.
One of the highlights of this year’s event will be the launch of reggae/dancehall star Epixode’s clothing brand. KOD revealed in an exclusive interview on The Chat that Epixode will not only be performing at the event but will also unveil his new clothing line.
The Kente Edition of Rhythms On Da Runway will take place on November 30 at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre.
The event will feature performances from industry legends such as Asaabea Cropper, Nene Agyeman, and Amandzeba, as well as contemporary artists including Camidoh, Nacee, Kwabena Kwabena, Edem, and Michael Stuckey from the USA.
With a lineup that promises to entertain and inspire, patrons are encouraged to show their support for this cultural celebration. The event aims to promote craftsmanship, sustainability, and tradition through the beautiful art of Kente weaving.
