Stonebwoy Responds to Allegations of Cancelling Shatta Wale’s Show at the University of Ghana
The recent cancellation of Shatta Wale’s performance at the TF Hotels at the University of Ghana has sparked controversy, with accusations pointing towards Stonebwoy as the mastermind behind the decision.
Shatta Wale, known for his outspoken nature on social media, blamed Stonebwoy for influencing the cancellation of his show.
However, the Dean of Students at the University of Ghana, Prof Rosina Kyerematen, clarified that the artiste night was canceled due to the lack of permission from the hall’s leadership to organize the event.
The hall had only received permission for a Karaoke night and had not made the necessary security arrangements or obtained clearance from the school’s authorities for an artiste night.
In response to the allegations against him, Stonebwoy refuted claims that he had any involvement in the cancellation of Shatta Wale’s show.
He described the accusations as “ridiculous” and emphasized that he would never abuse any powers he may have.
Stonebwoy also expressed his support for Shatta Wale, stating, “I believe in my brother [Shatta Wale] who always makes me feel more powerful.
” The reigning Artiste of the Year at the TGMA reassured fans that he would not use his influence in a negative manner.
The ongoing feud between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy has been a topic of discussion among music fans in Ghana.
