Stonebwoy, the award-winning Ghanaian native, has announced his upcoming North American tour in support of his latest album ‘UP & RUNNIN6.’ The tour is set to kick off in February 2025, starting in Chicago, IL.
This announcement comes shortly after Stonebwoy revealed a one-night show at the renowned O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, UK, scheduled for Saturday, March 8, 2025.
During the North American tour, Stonebwoy will travel across various cities in the United States and Canada, including Columbus, OH; Toronto, ON; New York, NY; Worcester, MA, before concluding the tour in Silver Spring, MD.
The tour follows Stonebwoy’s successful run in 2023, where he released his groundbreaking album ‘5TH DIMENSION’, performed over 90 shows worldwide, and received prestigious awards from the Ghana Music Awards and the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA).
Stonebwoy’s album ‘UP & RUNNIN6’ was globally released on October 24, featuring hit tracks like “JEJEREJE” featuring Amsterdam’s record producer Ginton, “EKELEBE” featuring Nigerian rapper ODUMODUBLVCK, and “PRAY FOR ME” featuring multi-Grammy winning Haitian rapper Wyclef Jean.
The album is a reflection of Stonebwoy’s Afro-Caribbean sound, merging Afrobeat, Dancehall, Reggae, Highlife, Amapiano, and R&B across 13 tracks. It explores themes of introspection, romance, spirituality, and empowerment, showcasing Stonebwoy’s vocal prowess.
Recently, Stonebwoy welcomed Jamaican Dancehall star Spice to Ghana for the official video shoot of his single “JIGGLE & WHINE” from the ‘UP & RUNNIN6’ album.
