Music is a powerful tool that transcends time and generations. Serah Sarah, the band leader of The Greatest Band, recently shared how social media has played a crucial role in the band’s success in this digital age.

In an interview on E Vibes: Musical Band Series, Sarah highlighted the importance of social media in inspiring and motivating the band to create music that they once thought would be challenging to produce.

She emphasized that platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and others have been instrumental in helping the band cover songs that they initially thought were too difficult.

“Because of social media, I can always go back to get songs because not every song is easily covered. You need to see how somebody has done it.

Sometimes when my band members bring songs and it seems difficult to do, we go to the internet and if it’s been done, we also get motivated to do it,” Sarah shared.

Moreover, Sarah pointed out that social media is also serving as a platform for the younger generation to discover the origins of certain songs.

By being active on social media, The Greatest Band is not only reaching a wider audience but also educating the youth about the timeless nature of music.

E Vibes Musical Band Series aims to celebrate and showcase the incredible journeys of musical bands in Ghana, shedding light on their triumphs, challenges, and the bonds that keep them together.

Through this series, audiences get a glimpse into the humble beginnings, rise to fame, and obstacles overcome by these talented groups.
