In an extraordinary feat, 22-year-old American streamer Kai Cenat has broken the record for attracting the most Twitch subscribers in a single stream.

Over the course of 30 days, Kai hosted a continuous stream on the platform, featuring special guests such as Snoop Dogg, Serena Williams, and Bill Nye.

The total number of subscribers amassed during this period is a staggering 727,694, although Twitch has yet to confirm the final count. This figure more than doubles the previous record of 326,252 set by IronMouse in October, breaking Kai’s own previous record from 2023.

During the stream, Snoop Dogg made an appearance on the second day to discuss his upcoming album and later gave viewers a tour of his lavish Los Angeles home, showcasing amenities like a recording booth, basketball court, arcade room, and casino.

Tennis legend Serena Williams also joined Kai for a video call, sharing insights into her favorite fast food meals and praising her sister Venus for her coaching skills.

The stream, known as Mafiathon 2, was named in honor of Kai’s loyal subscribers, known as the ‘Kai Mafia’. Viewers can support their favorite streamers by subscribing, with Twitch taking a percentage of the subscription fees.

Kai, who already boasts over 15 million subscribers, has pledged to donate 20% of the earnings from this historic stream towards a school project in Nigeria.

While the subathon was intended to be uninterrupted, there were some unexpected interruptions, including a pause in the stream after a hoax emergency call prompted police to visit Kai’s home.
