Africa’s largest and most exhilarating dance music festival, Detty Rave 2024, is making a comeback! Themed “Red and White Noise (RAW)”, the festival will take place at Untamed Empire in Accra, Ghana, on December 27.
This year’s event promises to offer an unforgettable Afro-Enjoyment experience. With a diverse lineup of Afrobeats, Afrohouse, Amapiano, Highlife, and Dancehall, the festival will be brought to life by some of Africa’s top DJs.
Among the talented DJs set to perform are Choplife Soundsystem with Don Eazi, DJ Tunez (Wizkid’s official DJ), BellaWorldwide, Smallgod, DJ Aroma, and many more. Their pulsating performances will keep the energy high throughout the night.
Detty Rave 2024 aims to transport fans into a sensory wonderland with futuristic stage designs, cutting-edge visuals, dazzling lasers, and immersive production. Beyond the music, the festival will also showcase Ghanaian culture with artisan pop-ups, food markets, and live art displays.
David Quayor, Project Manager of the Detty Rave Organising Committee, expressed excitement for this year’s festival, stating, “We’re putting DJs at the centre of the festival to celebrate their pivotal role in the evolution of African dance music.” He encouraged attendees to prepare for a night of epic sound, dazzling lights, and AfroEnjoyment like never before.
