Launched in July 2023, the GHSM program, carried out in collaboration with Twentyth Consult, aims to promote adherence to strict hygiene protocols among bakers in Ghana.

Participants of the program undergo rigorous training and evaluation processes based on 10 pillars, with Olam Agri recognizing and rewarding bakers who show a strong commitment to enhancing their operations.

This year’s awards honored over 200 bakeries, a significant increase from the previous year’s 171 awardees, showcasing the remarkable progress made by bakers in implementing and maintaining robust hygiene practices.

Bakeries that received honors in the Four Star and Three Star categories were rewarded with valuable prizes such as refrigerators and rice cookers to motivate sustained or improved performance.
