Ghanaian musician and producer Nii Soul is set to release a love-themed song on Valentine’s Day this year. The song is titled “Proverbs 18:22” and aims to showcase the beauty of real love.
In the Amplified version of the Bible, Proverbs 18:22 states, “He who finds a [true and faithful] wife finds a good thing and obtains favor and approval from the Lord.” Nii Soul shared that this scripture emphasizes the importance of finding a good partner and being a good partner in return.
The musician explained that the song was inspired by DJs showing respect for marriage. He hopes the song will encourage people to understand the value of marriage and showcase that the institution is not as negative as some may believe.
Known for his velvety voice and vocal prowess, Nii Soul has released other popular songs such as ‘Change’, ‘Oshe Baba’, ‘Odo’, and ‘Honeymoon’ featuring Kojo Kinn. In 2022, he launched his first album ‘Forecast into the Past’ with collaborations with artists like Prince Bright, MzVee, Fameye, and Gasmilla.
Nii Soul, who was the first runner-up in TV3’s Mentor reality show, has proven his versatility in various genres and styles. Before his conversion, he had hit songs like ‘Monife’ and ‘Sunshine’.
