Renowned Ghanaian TV presenter Nana Aba Anamoah recently spoke about the difficult decision she made to abandon her dream of becoming a doctor due to her teenage pregnancy.

Anamoah revealed that she had already been admitted to medical school when she became pregnant, and chose to prioritize her son’s well-being by giving birth instead of pursuing her medical career.

Anamoah shared that her father had high hopes for her to become a medical doctor, but he ultimately supported her decision to have her son.

The child Nana Aba sacrificed her medical admission to give birth to is Jyoti Paa Kow Anamoah, who is in his early 20s now. Jyoti, who is known to have started university in the United States in 2019, has brought immense joy to his mother.
