The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) is committed to providing musicians in Ghana with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital age.
Through its digital training program, MUSIGA aims to help musicians upload and promote their music on various digital platforms.
The program has already trained thirty-two musicians from different backgrounds, offering them insights into content creation, online music distribution, and social media strategies.
Led by industry expert Kwabena Ofei-Kwadey Nkrumah, also known as Kobby Spikey, the workshops in Accra, Kumasi, and Tamale have equipped participants with practical skills for success in the digital landscape.
S.K. Agyemang, the General Secretary of MUSIGA, highlighted the importance of the new center, stating that it will support members in navigating the digital terrain to enhance their careers.
By embracing digital tools, MUSIGA aims to help its members reach a global audience and generate significant revenue.
MUSIGA President Bessa Simons emphasized the need for members to adapt to the fully digital music industry to generate revenue and thrive in their careers.
The Technical Resource Centre will serve as a hub for continuous learning and support, tailored to the needs of musicians navigating the complexities of the digital music industry.
