The Detty Rave Festival once again showcased its status as a pivotal event in African music, delivering a night of electrifying beats, dynamic performances, and high-energy vibes. Held in Accra, the sixth edition of the festival drew in tens of thousands of music enthusiasts, artists, and influencers from around the world.
Founded by the renowned Afrobeats artist Mr Eazi, Detty Rave celebrates the essence of African dance music in all its glory.
This year’s festival kicked off with an energetic performance by BellaWorldwide and concluded with a remarkable set by Choplife Soundsystem, the DJ collective spearheaded by Mr Eazi and DJ Edu.
The stellar line-up of talent at the festival included captivating performances by top DJs and artists such as DJ Tunez (Wizkid’s official DJ), Shifa Ligero, Smallgod, Chichi DJ, Kelvin DJ, and surprise appearances by international superstars like Donaeo, Tekno, King Promise, Adekunle Gold, Kweku Smoke, Arajay, BlaqBonez, and Young John.
The event featured cutting-edge light displays, immersive stage designs, and striking visual effects that created an intergalactic atmosphere in line with the theme of “Red and White Noise.”
Detty Rave’s signature DJ-led format continues to push boundaries, bringing together revelers from diverse backgrounds to celebrate African dance culture.
Beyond the music, the festival offered a complete cultural experience with interactive installations, art exhibitions, culinary delights, and pop-up creative spaces.
Attendees had the opportunity to engage in artisan markets, live art showcases, and dance workshops, showcasing the richness and diversity of African culture.
