This past weekend, Mr Eazi was recognized at the Africa Prosperity Champions Awards (APCAs). The event, which was part of the 2024 Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD), was organized by the Africa Prosperity Network (APN) and took place at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City on Friday, January 26, 2024.

Under the distinguished patronage of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and other African dignitaries, the event awarded Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, better known as Mr Eazi, with the Young Entrepreneur Award, which was the second award of the night.

Mr Eazi, a Nigerian singer-songwriter and entrepreneur, rose to fame in Ghana with hits such as “Skin Tight,” “Bankulise,” and “Sample You.” He is also the pioneer of Banku Music, a fusion of Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian chord progressions. Eazi is the founder of emPawa Africa, a talent-incubation platform that offers mentorship and grants to 100 African artists annually.
