Ghanaian playwright Kobina Ansah is known for his daring and thought-provoking plays, such as In The Pants Of A Woman, Once Upon A Riddle, and The Boy Called A Girl. To mark his decade in impacting society through theatre, Ansah is set to premiere his new play, The Saint In The Devil’s Shoes, this Easter.

The Saint In The Devil’s Shoes is a one-man original musical that delves into the theme of corruption and its rippling effects. The story follows a public servant who has only 24 hours to pay his debt and finds himself in an abandoned house filled with secrets.

“I love to dare myself with every play I write. I want to do the extraordinary,” says Ansah about his latest creation. The play, in partnership with Joy FM, will be staged at the National Theatre on April 18 and April 19, with two showings each day at 3pm and 7pm.
