The Ghana Music Awards UK 2024 celebrated the outstanding achievements of Ghanaian talent at the prestigious Meridian Grand in London on a rescheduled date of Saturday, November 30th.
Among the night’s winners was Joseph Matthew, also known as JM, who clinched the title of Highlife Artiste Of The Year.
Joseph Matthew, a UK-based Afro-gospel singer, is no stranger to success, having previously won the International Artiste of the Year award at the Emerging Ghana Music Awards in 2020 and the Best Gospel Song of the Year UK at the Ghana Music Awards UK in 2023.
Now, he adds the Highlife Artiste Of The Year accolade to his collection.
Known for hits such as ‘Hallelujah’, ‘Nyame Ye’, ‘Not Alone’, ‘My Story’, ‘The Name’, ‘Blessed’, ‘Promise Land’, and ‘Fear No Evil’, Joseph Matthew continues to captivate audiences with his soulful music.
The night also saw Dancehall star Stonebwoy crowned as the ‘Artiste Of The Year’, with other notable winners including Sarkodie, King Promise, and Mr. Drew.
