Joey Graziadei has issued an apology after recently mixing up Gypsy Rose Blanchard with late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
This mix-up occurred during a “Betches” video on TikTok and garnered over 1.6 million views. In the video, Graziadei was shown a photo of Blanchard during a game called “How Online Are You,” to which he responded, “I do know who this person is. Is it Ruth? No? Is it Jinsburg? Ginsburg? Something like that. Am I wrong?”
Despite getting their names mixed up, Graziadei did demonstrate some understanding of Blanchard’s background, acknowledging that she had gone to jail due to her mother and played by actress Joey King in Hulu’s limited series “The Act”.
After facing backlash for the mix-up, Graziadei further apologized, expressing his respect for Ginsburg, who was an iconic figure known for her work in equal rights and women empowerment. He makes it clear that he doesn’t plan on living this down.
In his current role as the lead on ABC’s “The Bachelor”, Graziadei is setting out on a journey to find love. The reality star is hoping that viewers and fans will focus on his ability to spread love and seek emotional growth as he makes amends for the mix-up.
