Ghanaian musician Kofi Kinaata recently addressed rumors of tension between him and reggae/dancehall artist Ras Kuuku during an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty.
Kinaata clarified that there is no bad blood between them despite recent speculations.
The speculation arose from the fact that Ras Kuuku was not included in Kinaata’s upcoming Made in T’adi concert lineup. Kinaata explained that Ras Kuuku is not the only artist who was not featured in the concert lineup, dismissing any perceived conflicts.
This apparent rift between the two artists stemmed from a previous incident where Ras Kuuku claimed that Kinaata removed him from the ‘Effiakuma Love’ song after initially requesting his verse.
Kinaata stated that he was not directly involved in the negotiations and his manager did not keep him informed about the collaboration.
Despite Ras Kuuku expressing dissatisfaction with the situation, Kinaata emphasized that he has no issues with the artist and pointed out that several other artists were also not included in the concert lineup.
The Made in T’adi concert is scheduled to take place on December 21, 2024, at the Takoradi Sports Club, with performances from artists like Samini, Donzi, Dhope Nation, Kwesi Flex, and Kwesi Amenuga.
