Heritage Caravan 2025 launched, an unforgettable tour across 14 regions in 8 days

Adventure enthusiasts and Ghanaians alike are gearing up for an extraordinary experience with the upcoming 2025 edition of the Heritage Caravan scheduled to take place from 2nd to 9th March 2025.

This year’s Heritage Caravan, organized by Channel One TV and Citi FM, is renowned for its immersive cultural experiences and breathtaking explorations of Ghana’s diverse landscapes.

Promising an even more thrilling adventure, surprises, and unforgettable memories, the 2025 Caravan is anticipated to exceed all expectations.

Following the tremendous success of the 2024 edition, which received high praise for its seamless organization and exciting activities, the 2025 Caravan is set to deliver an unparalleled experience.

Spanning eight days, the Heritage Caravan will lead participants, affectionately referred to as “Caravanites,” through 14 of Ghana’s regions, providing them with a deep dive into the nation’s cultural, historical, and natural wonders.

The journey kicks off in the Greater Accra Region, where a unique twist awaits participants right from the start.

Frema Adunyame, Head of Events and Partnerships at Channel One TV and Citi FM, made the exciting announcement on the Citi Breakfast Show, hinting at a surprise stop in Accra before embarking on the journey.

From Accra, the Caravan will venture to the serene Volta Region, offering an exciting activity for participants. The route will then wind through Yendi in the Northern Region, immersing travelers in the captivating northern landscape of Ghana.

The extensive itinerary of the Caravan includes visits to various regions, such as the Upper East Region known for its traditional crafts and the Paga Crocodile Pond, the Oti Region with its picturesque scenery, the Savannah Region home to Mole National Park, the Northern Region with historic landmarks like the Yendi Palace.

The Bono Region offers a mix of natural beauty and vibrant traditions, the Ashanti Region with cultural significance like the Manhyia Palace, the Western Region boasts stunning coastal views and historical forts, and the Central Region is rich in history with landmarks like the Cape Coast and Elmina Castles.

Each stop along the way will be filled with activities showcasing the region’s unique culture, food, and attractions, providing participants with guided tours, cultural performances, culinary experiences, and interactive sessions with local communities.

The Heritage Caravan aims to create a space for camaraderie, learning, and discovery, catering to individuals from all walks of life – from young professionals eager to explore the country to seasoned travelers seeking new experiences.
