Ghanaian actress Adu Safowaah kicks off her GWR speeh-a-thon attempt

Award-winning Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, Regina Adu Sarfowaah, has embarked on a groundbreaking journey to break the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest speech marathon by an individual.

Adu Safowaah began her attempt on February 9, 2024, at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra. She will be speaking for a total of 120 hours over the course of five days, with her GWR attempt slated to conclude on February 14, 2024.

Adu Safowaah’s bid to break the existing record of 90 hours and 2 minutes, which was set by Ananta Ram KC in Kathmandu, Nepal in 2018, will be closely monitored. The actress has set up shop inside a glass room where she will deliver her speech, with the clock running and cameras capturing the moment.
